'Wonderfully Quaint' Cottage on Lagoon Sold in Vineyard Haven: $827,500

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom Hines Point home built in 1915 changed hands Aug. 16, according to Dukes County land records.

A Vineyard Haven man has purchased a 1915 lagoon-front cottage on Hines Point Road from its California owners for $827,500, according to Dukes County land records.

The  buyer, Nathan P. Wilkins, also paid a $16,550 fee to the Martha's Vineyard Land Bank.

The "wonderfully quaint" home at 61 Hines Point Road has one bedroom and one bathroom in 524 square feet of living space on a .31-acre lot and was previously listed at $895,000, according to Zillow.
