A Touch Of Rain Will Not Spoil Christmas In Edgartown Parade
Christmas In Edgartown Parade set for Saturday on Martha's Vineyard rain or shine.
MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — A little rain is not going to be enough to wash away from the holiday spirit from the annual Christmas In Edgartown Parade on Saturday. The parade is set to go rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
With the parade joy does come parking restrictions, however. Edgartown police advised that there will be no parking on portions of the parade route Saturday. No parking areas include: Main Street, the first two blocks of North Water Street and a few spots on Winter Street. Al no parking areas will be clearly marked.
The parade route will be closed to traffic at 10:45 a.m. and remain closed until the route is full cleared of people. With the expectations of rain and win, spectators are advised to wear proper clothing to stay warm and —relatively — dry.

Police also advise that they will have extra patrols out this weekend to help ensure visitors and residents enjoy the weekend's festivities responsibly.
