Town of Aquinnah to Create Gay Head Lighthouse Committee
Individuals with skills necessary to saving the Gay Head Light are being sought by Aquinnah Board of Selectmen

The Town of Aquinnah’s Board of Selectmen is seeking interested individuals to serve on a newly created committee seeking solutions to restore and protect the Gay Head Lighthouse. This will be an advisory committee reporting its recommendations to the Board of Selectmen on the ownership transfer, full restoration and relocation of the lighthouse. Membership consideration will be based primarily on those individuals whose background in community service relations, finance and grant writing will best serve the goal of saving the Gay Head Light.
Interested individuals should submit correspondence detailing their desire to serve and what skills they can deliver that will be beneficial to the committee. Because this lighthouse is an iconic structure that has served the entire island community, the selectmen will consider those island individuals who will best meet the needs of this committee.
Please submit your letter of interest and any other information pertinent to the stated committee goal by Wednesday, November 21st to: Adam Wilson, Town Administrator, 65 State Road, Aquinnah, MA 02535. Fax: 508-645-2310; Email: aqbos@comcast.net
