Tropical Storm Warning for Martha's Vineyard

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — Tropical Storm Hermine will batter Martha's Vineyard with torrential rain and 75 mph winds over the Labor Day holiday. The National Weather Service issued a tropical storm warning for Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket Sunday night into Monday. Flooding and power outages are possible.

Hermine is expected to stall off New England, churning up rough surf and dangerous rip currents at beaches through at least mid-week, NWS said. Rain is forecast through Wednesday.
