Two Great National Bike Month Events Saturday
Boys & Girls Club is giving away a free bike at their Bike Rodeo and there's a Blessing of the Bikes in Edgartown
There are many great events happening around the Island as part of National Bike Month, two of which take place this coming Saturday.
The Third Annual Blessing of the Bikes will be held at the 45 South Summer Street in Edgartown at 10 am on Saturday, May 19th.
The blessing will be officiated by The Rev. Dr. Jerry Fritz, Pastor and avid cyclist. All cyclists of all ages and any faith, belief or ideas are welcome.
Over in the parking lot, there will be a – Bicycle Safety Day & Cookout. Presented in partnership by the Department, the , the Edgartown School, the , , and Mass in Motion.

The event takes place from 10 am – noon and there will time to learn and practice bicycle safety skills while having a great time. Plus all participants will be entered to win a brand new bike! Helmets required.
