Vineyard Wind -MassDEP-Edgartown Conservation Commission- "Conference Call " Held July 31, 2019
The Edgartown conservation commission, in early July, denied a permit for two 200,000 volt electric submarine cables that would pass through the Muskeget Channel. Vineyard Wind proposed to bury the two 400-megawatt export cables off Chappaquiddick.
The Edgartown conservation commission official date of the denial according to MassDEP records is July 18, 2019. The original order of conditions under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act is MassDEP file # SE 1529.

MassDEP excepted the appeal from Vineyard Wind on July 24, 2019.
According to Dan Gilmore, Wetlands Section Southeast Regional Office, MassDEP a conference call was held between Vineyard Wind-Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Edgartown Conservation Commission Wednesday afternoon July 31, 2019.

Vineyard Wind appealed the Edgartown Con Com decision in which case the MassDEP accepted the appeal July 24, 2019.
According to MassDEP Superseding Order of Conditions will be issued in about a week.
