Our new Visions for Vacancies is a weekly feature where you can weigh in with your ideas about what kind of businesses you’d like to see occupying empty storefronts around town.
Each week, we’ll highlight a vacant building, storefront or structure and we’ll leave it to the Island community to sound off on what you’d like to see there.
This week we're featuring a 26,500 square foot commercial building that's been closed for years now, right on the outskirts of downtown Oak Bluffs.

The building is on the corner of Hiawatha and Circuit Aves, right at the edge of the park across from the . What would you like to see go into this space? Don't worry about zoning restrictions - this is purely an exercise of the Island's imagination.
As Circuit Avenue and the near by Arts District expands, this might be a great space for artist lofts or even a gallery. On the other hand, it's big enough for a pool hall or perhaps some candlestick bowling.
