The Art of Sun Salutations
The with FLY Yoga's Sherry Sidoti happens Saturday at Tapas Hot Yoga in Vineyard Haven. This workshop on the sun salutation, or Surya Namaskar A, will breakdown the alignment and energy of each posture of sun salutes as well as play with the entry into and exit out of each pose. Learn to safely flow through sun salutes, including "jumping back" into chaturanga and "floating forward" into forward fold. 1:00 pm–4:00 pm. $40
Fundraiser for Paola Ayala Fuller
There will be a benefit fundraiser in support of , victim of the fire on New Year’s Day in Oak Bluffs on Saturday at in Oak Bluffs. Tickets will be $20 and may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, Seasons the day of the event or by calling Kim Wells (508 274-3894), Barbara Willmott (508 696-0271) or Catie Fuller (508 776-7032). Raffles will be held at the gathering featuring a variety of donated local items. All proceeds will go directly to Paola. 5pm - 8pm
Theater By Kids for Kids

Project Nim

Winter Bee Workshop
There is a Winter Bee Workshop on Sunday at the Island Cohousing Common House. Participants will learn how to check hives in the winter and will make sugar cakes for supplemental/ emergency feeding and discuss feeding protein in March. Noon -3pm. $25. Space is limited. Getting 2 Know U
The first of a four-session workshop: Getting 2 Know U: Your Body, Your Feelings, Your Mind: Sexuality education for eighth grade girls starts on Sunday.
