2013-2014 MHS Boys Lacrosse Team Honored

The Medfield Board of Selectmen honored the 2013-2014 Medfield High School Boys Lacrosse Team last night at the Selectmen Meeting for their state championship, which they won this past June.
Because of the players and coaches schedules at the end of the school year, the team was unable to receive their honor then and rescheduled for the current Thanksgiving Break as many of the players from last year’s team would be home from college.

The Lacrosse Warriors finished the year 23-2, with their final championship win over Hingham 13-6. The team is coached by John Isaf and over the years has amassed an incredible championship record.
The Board of Selectmen have begun a new tradition of honoring all state championship teams, as it reflects not only on Medfield High school but the entire Town of Medfield.

Each of the players and coaches were congratulated at the meeting by Selectmen Osler ” Pete” Peterson, Mark Fisher and Richard DeSorgher and each received a citation from the Town of Medfield congratulating them on their honor as well as an official Town of Medfield pin, containing the Town Seal.
