COA Flag Day Celebration at the Center

Celebrate Flag Day at The Center with historian Dr. Gary Hylander on Monday, June 14 at 2:30 p.m.

The United States celebrates Flag Day on June 14th. This day observes the adoption of the “Stars and Stripes” as the official flag of the United States. On this day, Americans are reminded about the history of their beloved national symbol, which they see as a symbol of the freedom they enjoy every day.

They proudly fly flags in front of their houses, offices, and public buildings to remember how freedom was won through the sacrifice of previous generations.
