Don't Miss Medfield's Drive-By Porch Fest
Porch Fest - May 1st - (1pm-4pm) - An Open-Air Music Festival where Talent and Community Shine!
Drive-By Medfield Porch Fest, Saturday, May 1st...
On Saturday, May 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. performers of all ages from across Medfield will share their talents from their front porches or lawns. This family-friendly community event is presented free of charge by the Cultural Alliance of Medfield (CAM) for all to enjoy an afternoon of live music entertainment from the safety of their vehicles. (Rain date is Sunday, May 2.)

More than 20 performers or performing groups have signed up to participate in the drive-by PorchFest. The open-air music festival will feature soloists, students and ensembles representing a variety of genres. In addition to artists who signed up in advance with CAM for pre-event publicity purposes, community members are welcome to join the festivities at their own homes.

New this year, members of the Medfield High School Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Band and Jazz Choir will perform from 1 – 2 p.m. outside of the High School auditorium. PorchFest 2021 also introduces a fun Fan Challenge: To participate, visit all of the performance venues and scan the unique QR code posted on each location lawn sign to enter for a chance to win a $100 Medfield restaurant gift card.

Following Massachusetts COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, audience members must wear a mask and maintain 6’ of distance. Drivers are encouraged to enjoy the performances from their cars.
The Cultural Alliance of Medfield (CAM) was established as a non-profit organization in 2015 to support artists, expand cultural opportunities and nurture the creative community. Central to this mission, CAM has secured a 99-year lease on two signature buildings at the historic Medfield State Hospital to renovate a regional performing arts and education center at the heart of the campus.
