Forecasts Say 4-8 Inches of Snow for Medfield

MEDFIELD, MA - Several inches of snow could hit the area late Thursday night and early Friday morning.

A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect Friday from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. The warning is issued by the National Weather Service when more of 6 inches of snow is expected to fall and travel will be slow and difficult.

Heavy snow is expected during the Friday morning commute, with a snowfall rate of up to an inch per hour. Drivers should expect hazardous condition and a slow drive. The NWS is advising people to telecommute if possible.
