A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In September 2006 the Montrose School opened in Medfield. It had previously been located in Natick Center. The independent grade 6-12 school for girls, which is inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, had just celebrated its 25th anniversary before the move to Medfield. The school purchased the 13.5-acre former hat factory property, which runs along Janes Avenue and North Street, and made plans for a $10 million dollar campus. The school opened with 150 students from over 35 communities."
