Forty Fifth Week, Monday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"Jasper Adams was the son of Henry and Elizabeth, both of whom were killed in 1676 during the attack on the town during the King Philip War. Jasper moved and lived in what is now the town of Holliston. The hill near where he lived was known as “Jasper’s Hill.” Here Jasper would light signal fires that could be seen by his friends in Medfield. Jasper died in 1742 at the age of 95, remaining a bachelor his entire life."
