A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

" In 1988 membership of the Unitarian Universalist First Parish Church had increased and the congregation raised $40,000 for a new wooden steeple, 50 years after the last steeple had been destroyed by the Hurricane of 1938. The 30-foot peak is a historically accurate reproduction of the steeple that stood atop the church before it was added onto in 1889."
