Grab Tickets for Zullo Funk Fest on Friday, June 7

The Zullo Gallery is shaking tradition with its 10th annual fundraising festival this year and turning it into a "funk-raising" festival from 7-11 p.m. on Friday, June 7!

While the day of the week is different, this year's Funk Friday Festival is once again supported by lead sponsor Needham Bank, and will continue to feature food from virtually every dining establishment in Medfield, a live auction, an original art sale, and all-inclusive ticket with wine and beer as part of the price, and an overall fun and lively community party under the big tent. Auction items include a Martha's Vineyard stay, Beetlejuice on Broadway tickets, and a birthday party with Kurt Jackson.

This year's Funk Friday Festival will also feature:

- DJ Matt Minnehan spinning the funkiest tunes around! Even if you don't plan on attending the event, song ideas are encouraged. Feel free to let us know what funky music means to you by clicking here for the suggestion form.

- The full-on quick wit and great sense of humor of Scott McDermott, as he sheds his town moderator persona, and entertains us as our emcee for the night!

- Jazz-pop-singer/songwriter-inspired original music by the Medfield band Alan comprised of graduating seniors from Medfield High Jazz Band and/or Jazz Choir that recently performed at the Hatch Shell in Boston. Band members are Berklee-bound Andrew Catanese, plus Alana Potts and Lukas Donner. They'll be opening the Funk Festival close to the 7 p.m. start time.

Single Funk Friday Festival tickets are $75 each, but through Thursday, June 6 ("First Thursday"), if you head up to the Zullo Gallery or into the Medfield Public Library, you can purchase a pack of 10 tickets for a group of friends at a discounted $60 per-ticket price. In addition to the Medfield venues for 10-packs, single tickets can also be purchased online here (convenience fee applies).

Proceeds from Funk Friday on June 7 benefit the non-profit Zullo Gallery-Center for the Arts in the heart of downtown Medfield!
