Letter to Editor...Endorsement of Robert Worth

To The Medfield Community,

My husband and I are excited to endorse Robert Worth for School Committee.

I worked with Robert for many years in the Westwood Public Schools. I have always been impressed with his work ethic and integrity, and I was pleased to see him take on the role as Vice-Principal for the Wrentham Schools in 2018. When Robert and his family moved to Medfield we were happy to learn we would be neighbors. We were very excited when he shared his interest in being on the School Committee. Robert is a passionate educator who sincerely believes in the value of public education. Robert understands that as a School Committee member he represents all the various constituents of Medfield, and that as a town board member he needs to work with other town boards to ensure Medfield remains a vibrant community.

Having spent 15 years on the School Committee myself, I understand the responsibilities and the skills needed to do the job. This has been a difficult year for everyone. Our students have missed out on so many important, wonderful moments of being in school on a daily basis. We need a strong advocate for our students who truly understands what is needed now and can lead us as we move beyond this pandemic. The School Committee would benefit from Robert’s experience and expertise.
