The Class of 2021 was greeted by the very talented MHS Marching Band led by Jason Bielik who played pop classics making the arrival into the park impactful and energized.
As the seniors’ families dropped them off at the end of the Rolling Rally, they saw the Blake Middle School baseball field turned into a huge carnival. The spectacular decorations all around the park highlighted the different areas of fun around the field. There was a photo booth with photographers Lisa McDonald and Danielle DuRoss, baby animal petting zoo, music, giant yard games, henna, air brush tattoos, caricature artists, volleyball and cornhole to name a few activities all organized by Minta Hissong & her incredible team.

Seniors relived their Winter Carnival memories thanks to Memorial, Wheelock and Dale’s PTO’s lending their booth games. MCPE lent their trivia card tables for the Cafe, community members lent tents and numerous yard games, boy scouts helped set up along with many community
volunteers. Delicious food and ice-cream trucks were organized by Laura Kirk and Kate Tormey along with the much needed water and ice to keep everyone cool during the heatwave. Nurse Jen Carlson, Nurse Melissa Coughlin and Dr. Marcia Robitaille & Colleen Hawley took care of
those needing them in the Nurses tent, mainly to give out Gatorade!
Susan Gorog, Laura Mulready and Jeannie Walsh organized over 200 volunteers that made the day run smooth. Julie Layden and Jesse Pezzullo shopped for the perfect gifts to hand out to each senior at the party. Amy Colleran, Bobby Kennedy, Nat Vaughn, Matt Frazier and Jeff
Murray were instrumental with supplying equipment allowing Karin Hauptman to manage the mammoth clean-up at the end with many more parent volunteers & their trucks!
Superintendent Jeff Marsden, Principal Robert Parga, Assistant Principal Heather Mandosa and Assistant Principal Jeff Sperling’s advice and help were instrumental during weekly planning sessions. Officer Paul Treggiari was there from the start and made sure everyone stayed safe during the party. We wish we could name all of the volunteers individually, but the list would be way too long. It shows you that it does take a village and our village is pretty special. Many parents were “paying it forward” so that others will do the same when their child is a senior at their All Night Grad Party. The entire town came together with such energy, support and
excitement for these Seniors. The Class of 2021 had a tough year and a half of school during COVID, but they ended it celebrating together and creating fun Medfield memories. They really did experience first hand the amazing, unique support from Medfield's community coming together.
Congratulations Class of 2021!
