Local Celtic Band Playing Final 2015 Summer Concert Series

This Thursday the 2015 Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization Summer Concert Series will be coming to a close.

The final concert in the 2015 series will feature Songs for Ceilidh, a local Celtic band. The concert will take place on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m. at the gazebo next to the Medfield Library, 460 Main St.

According to MEMO, Songs for Ceilidh, pronounced “Kay-Lee”, blends Celtic classics with Cape Breton inspired originals. “They’ve shared the stage with ‘The Glengarry Boys’ and ‘The Town Pants’,” the event description on the MEMO website said. “Their name says it all, ceilidh, a high energy, foot stomping party!”

The concert is hosted by Middlesex Savings Bank.

The Summer Concert Series takes place each Thursday between June 11 and Aug. 13 this summer. Each concert takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The concert series is sponsored by the Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization (MEMO) and William Raveis Realtors.
