Medfield Could Get Up To 8 Inches Of Snow

Greater Boston can expect to see snow start falling late Thursday afternoon, and it's not likely to stop until Friday evening.

MEDFIELD, MA —There's more snow heading to Medfield today and Friday.

Forecasters say snow is likely to start sticking late Thursday afternoon and continue falling through Friday leaving Medfield with as much as 8 inches of accumulation by Friday night.

National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory beginning at noon today until 7 p.m. Feb. 19.

"By Friday night, light snow will finally come to end across Southern New England, followed by drying northwest winds," according to NBC10 Boston meteorologist Aaron Perry. "When all is said and done Saturday morning, we will likely see a regionwide 3 to 6" with higher amounts of 7 to 8" possible across Eastern Mass. due to ocean-effect snow bands."

Trash pickup has not changed, as of 1 p.m., Thursday

As of 1 p.m., Monday, the school district has not announced any measures in response to the storm.
