Medfield Crash: Bicyclist Flown To Hospital
Police said a van and bicycle crashed around noon Wednesday on Route 109.
MEDFIELD, MA — A 60-year-old man on a bicycle is in the hospital after being struck by a van on Route 109 Wednesday. Police said the man was struck around noon at the intersection of Hartford Street.
Police did not know the man's current condition other than that he suffered head and leg injuries. Police said he was wearing a helmet and was able to communicate with them.
The man was flown to a Boston hospital by helicopter.
