Medfield Moves for Mental Health
The Medfield Coalition for Suicide Prevention, (MCSP), a MFi initiative, administered by Medfield Outreach, welcomes the Medfield community to participate in “Medfield Moves for Mental Health” a month-long virtual event to promote mental health.
Recognizing the role that exercise and movement play in the promotion of mood and enhancement of well-being, we invite the community to join us. Get up and get moving! We promote any sort of movement or exercise, including: walking, running, spinning, playing with your kids, skateboarding, etc. We encourage people to take care of their physical and emotional well-being while raising awareness and reducing the stigma of seeking mental health support. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join.

The Medfield Coalition for Suicide Prevention was created in September 2017. We are composed of community members and professionals who desire to promote mental health. Our mission is to promote the mental health and emotional well being of all community members, to raise awareness, reduce stigma and educate our community to help end suicide. Our vision is to build a community where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance.
New members are welcome and encouraged to join the coalition. The next meeting is Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
