Medfield Power Outages: Thousands Without Electricity
More than half of the customers in town were without power, the Town said.
MEDFIELD, MA — Power has been restored to Medfield. Eversource was earlier reporting more than half of its customers in Medfield were without power. The power was restored by mid-afternoon.
More than 3,300 of the town's 5,000 Eversource customers were without power, the Town said via Twitter. Eversource's website says the number of those without power was closer to 1,800 - which would still be nearly 40 percent of the town's customer base.
Some schools and businesses were among those without power.
