No Foul Play in Death of Former Millis Cop: Report

The former officer was accused of fabricating a story about being shot at and was also facing charges for threatening to bomb a school.

Foul play has been ruled out in the death of former Millis Police officer Bryan Johnson, WCVB reports citing an autopsy conducted by the state medical examiner’s office. Johnson, 24, was indicted on charges in connection with staging a shootout and threatening to bomb a school before he was found dead in his home on Thanksgiving Day.

A spokesman for the Norfolk District Attorney’s office told WCVB the death was never investigated as a homicide but did not give a cause of death.

Police responded to Johnson’s residence around 3:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
