FALLON, Mary Josephine (McInnis) 90, of Brookline, on Sept. 1, 2012. Mary was born and raised on Lake Ainslie, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Fallon. Loving mother of Nancy M. of Quincy, Joseph P. and his wife Pam of Medfield, Michael C. and his wife Joann of Norwood, Kathleen M. and her husband Bob of Holliston, and Kevin J. and his wife Karen of Walpole. She is also survived by her daughter, Mary Tondorf-Dick and her husband Gary of Hingham. Beloved grandmother of Matthew, Tyler, Drew, Shannon, Cameron, Maxwell, Brendan, Patrick, Daniel, and David. Predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters, Jane, Joseph, Madeline, Angus, Roderick, Ann, Katherine and Irene. The funeral was handled by the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home in Brookline, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence Church in Brookline, and interment at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. COOK, Sydney "Dunc" Doane Jr., 88, beloved husband of Darnice C. Cook of Arundel, ME; beloved father of Judi Kestenbaum, of Hilton Head, SC, Carol Bailey, of Carlisle, MA, Suzanne Kinsellagh of Medfield, MA and Kathy Griffin, of Gorham, ME; beloved brother of Sally Libby and beloved brother of Charles Sydney Cook; beloved grandfather of eleven grandchildren beloved great-grandfather of fourteen great-grandchildren, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30, 2012 at his home. He was born in Boston, MA and later served his country in World War II becoming a Corporal in the Air Force before settling in Wellesley, MA where he raised his four daughters. Many summers were also spent with his family at Drake's Island in Wells, ME, enjoying the sun and the sand. As a youth, he loved spending time at his grandfather's farm in Jackman, ME. He was an avid golfer who was a third generation member at Brae Burn Country Club in Newton, MA. In later years, he perfected his game at Webhannet Golf Course in Kennebunk. Doane was a 4th generation to become President of A. Stowell & Company of Boston. Stowell's had remained one of Boston's leading jewelers for over 140 years. A real connoisseur of the business, he was a member of the Boston Jewelers Club for over fifty years. He was well known as a friend to everyone and during his retirement years in Maine was a member of the Marching Chowder Society where he'd tell his stories and made enduring friendships with so many over the past twenty years. A graveside service was held on Sept. 5 at the Arundel Cemetery, Kennebunkport, ME, with the Reverend Charles Whiston officiating. A reception followed at the Coastal House in Wells, ME. BRYANT, Felicia L., 90, of Holliston, passed away Aug. 27, 2012. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Gurski) and William Lennig. She was the wife of the late Paul P. Bryant. Felicia was active in the Holliston Senior Center for the last 15 years and enjoyed their activities. She was member of the Hollis-tones singers at the Senior Center. She enjoyed friends, visiting around town and frequenting the library. She is survived by her children, Sandra Niedzwiecki and her husband, Wallace, of Holliston, Teresa Bryant and Andrea Bryant, both of Holliston, and Barry Bryant and his wife, Barbara, of Medfield. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Kyle Niedzwiecki and his wife, Bryn, Jaime Niedzwiecki, Ryan Good, Evan Good, Ashley Bryant, Paul Bryant; and one great-grandchild, Dylan Niedzwiecki. The funeral was handled by Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Holliston Senior Center, 150 Goulding St., Holliston, MA 01746.

COUGHLIN, Richard E., 66, of Westfield, passed away suddenly on Aug. 24, 2012 at Norwood Hospital. His parents were the late William P. Coughlin of Greenfield and Mary (Leyden) Coughlin of Springfield. Richard was born in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School and Assumption College, where he played hockey. He was an Army veteran who served overseas in Germany. Richard was an IT Professional over the course of his career and an active member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He coached Westfield Youth Soccer and served a stint as President of the soccer league. Richard is survived by his wife Norma (Byron) Coughlin. He was a loving husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather. Richard was the proud father of two wonderful children, Brock Coughlin and his wife Melissa of Medfield and Matthew Coughlin and his wife Celia of Chantilly, VA; as well as six grandchildren: Shea, Chase, Raegan, Callaghan, Hadley and Taylor. He is also survived by his 3 brothers and one sister: Robert Coughlin of Venice, FL; William Coughlin of Sarasota, FL; Jane McDonough of Greenfield; James Coughlin of Lexington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He is pre-deceased by one brother, Thomas Coughlin of West Hollywood, CA. Richard was known for his kind and caring nature and was a passionate Boston sports enthusiast, as well an avid New York Giants fan. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. The funeral was handled by the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home in Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, and burial at the Old Hadley Cemetery in Hadley.
