Obituary: Elizabeth Davis, Longtime Medfield Resident, Former Area CNA

Elizabeth “Betty” Davis died on Sunday, Aug. 2, in Waynesboro, Virginia. She was 76 years old.

Davis, born in Framingham on Oct. 6, 1937, was a longtime resident of Medfield, living and working in town for much of her life. Davis worked for many years as a server and cook for restaurants and bakeries, and also worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at what is now called the Thomas Upham House.

Davis lived in a number of other locations throughout her life, including Hollywood, Florida, and Waynesboro, Virginia.

Davis was a husband to Robert E. Davis and parent to three children. She was also a grandmother to six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m.
