Tuesday, Jan. 7
8:55 a.m., North Meadows and Dale Street. Resident reported that, almost every morning, between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., cars on Route 27 southbound are going through the red light.Â
1:53 p.m., Pine Street. Police noticed a large patch of ice on Pine Street. DPW notified.Â
4:58 p.m., Fire Department. Walk-in medical emergency. Patient was taken to Norwood Hospital.Â
8:04 p.m., South Street. Three calls reported a deer hit on South Street. The deer was put down.Â
10:25 p.m., Wilkens Glen. Well-being check. No problem.Â
Wednesday, Jan. 8
6:33 a.m., Main Street. E911 caller reported a smell of gas in the building. Fire Department responded.Â
12:11 p.m., Park Street. Business said they received one of their ads in the mail "that had been altered to look obscene." They wanted it noted.Â
3:49 p.m., Pound Street. Lifeline Systems called to say a man at Tilden Village might be having a heart attack. Westwood Ambulance responded and took him to Norwood Hospital.Â
7:49 p.m., South Street. Caller asked to see an officer about her car being vandalized. Police said it looked like the very cold temperatures caused her rear window to break.Â
