Prior to each screening, audiences will hear from John Thompson, Chairman of Medfield State Hospital Buildings and Grounds, who will discuss the historical context of the site and how it compares to the “Ashecliffe Hospital” it depicts in the film.

We’ll be projecting the film onto a 40 foot inflatable screen using state of the art equipment provided by Boston Light and Sound. You’ll be surrounded by the sprawling complex of what was formerly known as the Medfield Insane Asylum while seeing its many buildings featured
prominently in Scorsese’s mind-bending psychological thriller.

A portion of the proceeds from these screenings will be utilized for the care and maintenance of Medfield State Hospital.
