It has been an exciting year at UCC Medfield!
In January 2020, Phil Bauman announced his retirement after 25 years of serving UCC Medfield as its Senior Pastor. Pastor Phil has led with a clear vision and love for every person who has walked through the church doors. In November 2020, the UCC Medfield congregation approved several major initiatives that are core to their plans to expand their ministries and deepen their community impact.
Their new organizational purpose states that UCC Medfield exists to love like Jesus.

This core purpose rests on an innovative shared leadership model headed by two Lead Pastors with equal responsibility for the church’s organizational health and equal authority over the church’s spiritual growth.
UCC Medfield is excited to introduce Kayla Hurst and Arturo Rodriguez as its new Lead Pastors. Together, they will offer vision and strategy that inspires UCC Medfield to love like Jesus. Kayla and Arturo will direct all aspects of ministry and bring a collaborative approach to pastoral care, sermon development, staff supervision, communications management, and community relations, among other areas of church vitality.
