Both states start with an M and love their seafood.

Sharp-eyed Walmart shopper and Twitter user Samantha Ficco of Lynchburg, VA, called out the country’s biggest retailer recently for putting the word “Terps” and the letter “M” over an outline of the state of Massachusetts in its UMD clothing line.

She shared the company’s mistake on Twitter.

Dear @Walmart I want to inform you that you're selling UMD shirts with the state of Massachusetts on them. pic.twitter.com/RjzK4CdOHH

"Dear @Walmart I want to inform you that you're selling UMD shirts with the state of Massachusetts on them," Ficco tweeted.

The graphic appeared to confuse the Chesapeake Bay for Cape Cod Bay.

The company's reply: "We’re so embarrassed we may never stick our head out of our shell again! Thanks for guiding this lost Terrapin back to MD!"
