For children eager to expand their creative and artistic horizons this summer, the non-profit Zullo Gallery in Medfield has opened registration for three in-person art classes.

Taught by Kurt Jackson, a professional artist, storyteller, and Medfield After School Program teacher/program director, these are the classes offered in July from 9:30 a.m. to Noon each day:

  • July 5-9: Art Explorations with drawing/mixed media for students in grades 1-4.
  • July 12-16: Artist Studio with a wider array of mediums for students in grades 1-3.
  • July 26-30: Beginners Digital Art with lessons in photography for students in grades 4-7.

Zullo Gallery Executive Director Bill Pope notes, "Classes give children an opportunity to develop their artistic skills at their own pace with individual instruction in a small group setting."
