10 Proposals Submitted For Pot Shops In Medford

MEDFORD, MA — The city has received proposals from 10 applicants for adult-use marijuana retail establishments. A maximum of three may be licensed in Medford, according to a city ordinance.
Applicants pursuing a retail license must hold a public meeting prior to Aug. 1, while those seeking a non-retail license will be invited to host public meetings on a rolling basis.
Meetings will be scheduled and hosted by each applicant, not by the city of Medford or the Cannabis Advisory Committee.
