Accused Gang Member From Medford Charged In Drug Plot: Feds

Christopher Phann, 29, is one of 15 suspected members of One Family Clique charged in a drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy.

MEDFORD, MA — A Medford man is among 15 people charged in a drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy, federal authorities said. Christopher Phann, 29, known as "Kree," is a suspected member of the Lowell-based gang One Family Clique, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

The gang was the subject of a long-running drug trafficking investigation, during which federal agents seized or bought approximately 2.32 kilograms of cocaine, 10.78 kilograms of methamphetamine, 41 grams of fentanyl, 30 grams of MDMA, 513 grams of heroin, $104,396 in cash and three guns, the USAO said.

One Family Clique has also been tied to 12 incidents of gunfire stemming from hostilities with rival gangs in the Lowell area, authorities said.

Since at least 2019, the gang used the U.S. Postal Service to receive drugs and ship cash to its supplier, the USAO said. The gang also maintained stash houses in Lowell, where meetings and other illegal activities took place, authorities said.

Phann faces charges of money laundering conspiracy and conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine, cocaine base, fentanyl, methamphetamine and MDMA.
