1 Injured After Awning Collapses In Medford
The fire department said a group of good Samaritans helped first responders lift the awning off the woman, who was hospitalized.

MEDFORD, MA — A woman was hospitalized after an awning collapsed on her in Medford Friday morning. The collapse happened on Riverside Avenue before 9 a.m.
A group of good Samaritans helped lift the awning off the woman, the fire department said. She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and is in stable condition, Boston 25 reported.
Crews cut the awning into pieces in order to clear it from the road.
