Somerville Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Medford Crash
The man was hit by a car in Wellington Circle early Monday, state police said.
MEDFORD, MA — A bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Medford Monday morning, state police said. The collision happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Route 16 in Wellington Circle.
The cyclist, a 48-year-old Somerville man, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, police said. The driver, a 50-year-old man from Stoneham, stopped at the scene and was questioned by state police troopers.
An investigation is ongoing to see if charges are warranted.
