Coronavirus: Medford Adds Breakfast Option To 'Grab N' Go' Meals

The city is expanding its meal options and adding new locations for families to pick up food.

MEDFORD, MA — Medford has added a breakfast option to its "Grab N' Go" food service for students and families in need during the coronavirus crisis. The city also offers meals to seniors and other residents in need, which are available for pickup at various locations across the city.

Students

Food will be served between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the following locations:

  1. The McGlynn complex
  2. The Medford Youth Center, 30 Forest St.
  3. Willis Avenue Community Room, 148 Exchange St.
  4. Medford Public Library, 200 Boston Ave.
  5. Tufts Park, 437 Main St.
  6. Haines Square parking lot, behind 440 Salem St.
  7. Community Family, 121 Washington St.

Seniors

"Grab n' Go" meals will be available for seniors between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Senior Center, 101 Riverside Ave.

Other Residents

The Unitarian Universalist Food Pantry is open Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m.

The new Mystic Ave. Community Market is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
