Ex-Instacart Worker Threatened Medford Wegmans Employees: Police
Douglas Goncalves, 30, threatened to shoot several supermarket employees, who he blamed for his firing from Instacart, police said.
MEDFORD, MA — A Natick man who was fired from Instacart is accused of threatening to shoot employees of the Medford Wegmans, who he blamed for losing his job, police said.
Douglas Goncalves, 30, was arrested Friday in Natick, the MetroWest Daily News reported. He faces charges of making terroristic threats, identity fraud and possession of fake RMV documents.
Goncalves was fired from Instacart, an app through which people can order groceries and have them delivered, in late January. Police said he then emailed several Wegmans employees, threatening to shoot them, the MetroWest Daily News reported.
