Freezing Rain Advisory for Medford Until Midnight Tuesday

The freezing rain is going to make for dangerous travel conditions.

The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for Medford until midnight tonight.

The previous Winter Weather Advisory has been cancelled.

Residents should expect freezing drizzle to continue Tuesday afternoon and evening with temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees. NWS officials say the advisory may be extended into Wednesday morning.

The freezing rain is going to make for dangerous travel conditions. Untreated roads will become slick and slippery with only a trace of ice, especially on bridges, overpasses and other elevated platforms.

Downed tree limbs and/or power lines may also be possible.
