Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Gentle Dental: Gentle Dental was founded in Brookline, Massachusetts over 40 years ago. During that time, we have expanded into communities throughout New England. We’re a local company with deep roots in the communities we serve.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Gentle Dental: Our founder, Dr. Weissman, had the idea that dental care should be accessible and fit in with the patient’s schedule, not the other way around. He focused on providing all dental specialties at one location, opening early and staying open late, and working with patients to make sure care fit within their budget. We honor all those commitments today.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?

Gentle Dental: Award-winning, convenient, approachable, caring.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Gentle Dental: We hear from patients every day thanking us for providing expert, pain-free dental care. We’re proud to have a nearly 5-star rating average on Google for all Gentle Dental practices. We listen to patients and take their feedback very seriously.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?

Gentle Dental: Gentle Dental practices are open when others aren’t. We know that evening and weekend hours work for business-working folks and their families. Some practices are even open on Sundays for ultimate convenience. We’re able to see emergency dental issues the same day and help patients relieve pain quickly.

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Gentle Dental: Put the patient first and the rest will fall in line.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?

Gentle Dental: Soon, patients will be able to schedule their appointments online at GentleDental.com. We know it’s not always easy to pick up the phone and make a call. Now, you can schedule your dental appointment from anywhere!

Patch: Do you have any events coming up in your community?

Gentle Dental: We love working with the local community to sponsor events and worthy causes. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re unable to attend or host events like we used to. Our doctors are staying safe by limiting contact outside of the office.
