Girl Scouts using a virtual booth to sell cookies in the pandemic

Medford Girl Scouts are in the middle of their biggest fundraiser but the coronavirus has focused sales online this year.

If you are looking for Girl Scout cookies, check out Medford Girl Scouts' Virtual Cookie Booth. The pandemic restricted the ways troops normally sell cookies this year. In response, Medford Girl Scouts set up a Virtual Cookie Booth on their website and troops are taking turns being featured.

This year’s new cookie is the Toast-Yay! (they taste like french toast with maple syrup) and the all-time best seller is Thin Mints, followed by Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties. This is the last year for the S’Mores cookies, in case you want to stock up. Customers who want to support Medford Girl Scouts, but don't want the cookies themselves, can select Cookie Share and place an order for cookies that will be distributed to food pantries and essential workers in Eastern Massachusetts .
