The bagel shop, run by Medford residents Ed Thill and Lindsey Gaudet, opened Friday on Winthrop Street.
MEDFORD, MA — A bagel shop run by Medford residents who live just around the corner opened Friday. Goldilox Bagels, owned by Ed Thill and Lindsey Gaudet, is located in the former home of Stone and Skillet at 186 Winthrop St.
Thill and Gaudet decided to tempt fate with a dual Friday the 13th-full moon opening, the couple joked in a post on their Facebook page. The shop serves plain, sesame, salt, rosemary salt, everything, poppy, garlic, cinnamon sugar and gluten-free bagels, as well as tea, coffee, cookies and sandwiches.
The shop's hours are 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on weekends. It is closed Monday and Tuesday.
