High E. Coli Levels Found In Wright's Pond In Medford
The pond was closed Wednesday and Thursday after testing yielded elevated levels earlier this week.

MEDFORD, MA — Wright's Pond was closed Wednesday and Thursday due to elevated E. coli levels.
High E. coli levels were detected in a water sample taken on Monday, the Recreation Department said. The water was retested Wednesday morning, with results expected Thursday evening of Friday morning.
The beach and park areas remain open at the pond.
