Housing Resources For Medford Residents During Pandemic: City

Medford will host a virtual forum Thursday on resources, including help with rent payments, legal services and guidance about tenant rights.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford and its partner agencies have several housing programs and opportunities available to residents during the coronavirus pandemic. Services include but are not limited to assistance with rent payments, free legal services and guidance about tenant rights during and after the public health emergency.

On Thursday, May 21, the City and Housing Medford are co-hosting a virtual information session on new and existing emergency housing resources in Medford. For additional information on this information session and other immediate housing resources, please see details below.

On Thursday, May 21st at 6:30 p.m., Housing Medford and the City of Medford are co-hosting a virtual information session on new and existing emergency housing resources in Medford. This information session will highlight Medford's new emergency rental assistance programs created with Community Preservation Act funds. Participants will be able to learn and ask questions about how this and other assistance programs work. Rental Assistance from ABCD

ABCD (Action for Boston Community Development) is providing emergency rental assistance to help tenants living in Medford, MA who have lost income related to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and are unable to make rent payments.

Medford residents can apply for emergency assistance by calling and leaving a message at ABCD’s Housing and Homelessness Prevention department at 617-348-6347or housing@bostonabcd.org. Pro Bono (free) Legal Services and Rental Assistance
