Longtime Medford Antique Shop Reopens Online

Two Sisters, which closed in August 2019 after almost 20 years on High Street, has moved its business online.

MEDFORD, MA — A longtime antique shop that closed last year is reopening for business online. Sisters Linda and Theresa Turino had to shut down Two Sisters Antiques and Collectibles in August 2019 after their landlord decided not to renew their lease. The shop had operated on High Street for 18 years.

Now it's back – sort of. While the sisters are not reopening a brick-and-mortar location, they are collecting and selling antiques online.

"Hello everyone! It's been a long time since our last post," they wrote on the Two Sisters Facebook page Nov. 21. "Are you tired of being quarantined and need something to break up the boredom?"

Two Sisters is now buying and selling items on Facebook, its website or over the phone. But the Turino sisters told Wicked Local they still miss the community connection that came with owning a store.

Customers can contact the shop through its website www.twosistersantiques.com, by phone at (781) 395-9669 or email at twosisterscoll@aol.com.
