Longtime Medford Police Officer Richard Lebert Retires
Lebert, an "asset to the traffic and motorcycle units," worked for the department for nearly 40 years.

MEDFORD, MA — Longtime Medford police officer Richard Lebert has retired. Lebert worked his last shift Wednesday after nearly 40 years of service in Medford.
Lebert spent the bulk of his career assigned to the traffic and motorcycle units. In a statement on its Facebook page, the Medford Police Department called Lebert an "asset" to those divisions.
"Congratulations on a job well done and enjoy your well-deserved retirement!" the Medford Police Department said in a statement.
