A Love Letter To Tony
A Medford resident looks back on her love-filled life with her late boyfriend.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Kathleen Morrison’s love letter to her late boyfriend, Tony:
My Dearest Tony,
You were the best thing to ever happen to me. We didn’t meet until we were 40, but the memory of the years we had together make me smile. Ten years ago you became ill with lymphoma the week of the Super Bowl and I spoke to you over the phone in your hospital bed. I didn’t realize it would be our last conversation since you would suffer a massive heart attack three days later. Even though you are no longer here you will always live in my heart. I love you, I miss you and look forward to seeing you again when it’s time.
