Main-South Safety Changes To Limit I-93 Access In Medford
More temporary safety improvements will be implemented April 13 ahead of a full-scale redesign of the intersection.
MEDFORD, MA — MassDOT will install temporary barriers and repaint traffic lanes to establish interim safety improvements ahead of a full-scale redesign of the Main Street and South Street intersection, the agency said Tuesday.
The installation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13 at 8 p.m.
Drivers will no longer be able to access the I-93 on-ramps via South Street or the southbound side of Main Street, MassDOT said. The new traffic pattern will remain in place until permanent intersection improvements are completed.
