Man With Medford Ties Sought in Pennsylvania Stabbing

Police in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, are searching for a suspect with Medford ties who is accused of stabbing a man over the weekend.

Mauricio Almeida Silva, 28, is wanted for stabbing a 43-year-old man around 4 a.m. Saturday morning. The victim was left with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Silva is currently listed as a resident of Phoenixville, but has family ties to Medford, according to police.

Silva is facing a slew of charges including attempted homicide, terroristic threats and aggravated assault.
