Martin Luther King Day 2016: Snow in Medford Forecast

Martin Luther King Jr. Day could bring snow to the area.

MEDFORD, MA—As we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 18, we could also be welcoming winter weather to the area.

Snow is currently in the forecast for the area early on Monday morning, and precipitation could continue into the later portions of the morning. Snow Showers and sub-freezing temperatures are projected for the holiday morning.

Medford’s forecast calls for snow showers beginning at 1 a.m. and continuing until approximately 8 a.m. Chances of precipitation range from 30 to 50 percent. Temperatures will reach as high as 28 degrees and fall as low as 26 degrees.

Temperatures will fall into the lower twenties later in the day and will fall into the teens on Monday night. Be sure to use caution on the roads early in the morning.
