Medford Changes Regular Street Sweeping Schedule
All enforcement will be in effect as of Monday, August 8.

MEDFORD, MA - Today, Mayor Stephanie M. Burke and the Department of Public Works announced changes to the weekly street sweeping schedule for the “main drags” in Medford.
Beginning on Monday, August 1, all “main drags” (listed below) will be swept twice a week after midnight, with sweeping on either the odd or even side of the road. As a result, residents will be able to leave their vehicles on one side of the street while the opposite side is being cleaned, a release said. This new policy will allow for streets to be cleaned thoroughly, a release said.
All enforcement will be in effect as of Monday, August 8. Prior to this date, residents will be made aware of the changes through posted signage, press announcements, and social media posts, a release said.
Residents should refer to the updated Sweeping Schedule on the website at www.medfordma.org/street-sweeping-schedule to see how their area will be affected, a release said. Any questions should be directed to the Mayor’s office or the Department of Public Works.
